Simply, how can the NCAA take away something they did not give us?

Although the NCAA doesn't sponsor a tournament they still retain complete jurisdiction over matters affecting their member schools.

Hence to ability to even strip BCS MNC "titles".

Coming out and announcing that it is our intention to get our conference to leave and start a new Association would be news worthy. Tech carries a good reputation of trying to do things the right way. It would be noticed.

And associations of athletic programs have come and gone before. Don't be afraid of it.

I think what we got versus what the "big boys" get is total crap and I'm just not putting up with it anymore. There is no law that says we can't schedule a game with Notre Dame that is OUTSIDE the realm of the NCAA.

And geez, what are we risking exactly? We've won exactly ONE NCAA team championship in our history. Doesn't that make you think for a minute?
