I've just got a strange feeling that the Big East is going to pull a bunny out of their hat and keep those three and add four more schools to get to 12. That will leave the ACC at 9, or less if they take FSU somehow. Syracuse seems to be coming reluctantly, which is not good. BC appears to be taking the, "yeah, Miami, yeah what ever you say, yeah yeah boss" approach. They are just following the Hurricanes lead out of desperation. Virginia Tech has gone from "we're right with Miami off to the ACC" to "loyalty to a conference is most important, we must all stay together in the BE".
If the BE gets to 12 before the ACC, it is going to be really tough for the ACC to get to 12 with quality schools.
This thing has a long way to go. Will the ACC be the bride left at the alter????? I hope not. This could strengthen the ACC to the level we all have been wanting.
This article in tomorrow's Post hints at Syracuse's reluctance. I hope Swofford can get this done.
