No chance that Beamer ever gets outright fired. They may ask for his resignation/retirement behind closed doors but regardless of how you feel about him Beamer is VPI.

Saint Bobby was way above Beamer and they practically pushed him out (he stayed about 3 years too long IMO). So I wouldn't be surprised to see Beamer get nicely pushed.

Beamer has probably heard the same thing as Bobby. He is just too stubborn. I just wish Bobby, O'Leary, and the Old ball coach had retired after great seasons.

Beamer is gone after this year. The writing is on the wall and he knows it.

They're gonna miss a bowl this year, recruiting is down, and they really don't have a reason to expect to return to prominence under the current administration. In fact, they have pretty much completed their slide into mediocrity at this point. Not much prestige is left from the Beamer Ball era.

It will be good for future CPJ records and our Coastal Division aspirations if they were to slide back into the irrelevance that was VPI football before Beamer

If VaPoly slides back to pre-beamer levels, the ACC will need to rebalance the divisions.
