I heard there is a bunch of them scattered around the city for both Jordan Yates and Jamious Griffin. This is yet another trick out of CGC's magic hat of recruiting. Props.
I hope they continue to use them during the season. Like Oliver or Johnson or Yates game stats....38-40, 604 yards passing, 7 TD's vs Clemson. That sort of thing. Griffin, 20 carries, 357 yards, 4 TD's

whew. I thought we were gonna have to have an intervention. Or an exorcism? Something like that.I was just playing along. I'm actually really busy at work and dont have time for all the tweets and news coming out.
Exactly. For example, the Grayson fans now know they got a kid here. More likely to follow what we are doing. More likely to like GT. Even just regular joes who happen to live in the Grayson area are gonna feel a connection. This is brilliant. Tech Football has usually has some sort of billboard advertisement up around ATL all the time.
This probably doesn’t add to the budget since you can just reuse those tech football promotional dollars, and you do some sweet recruiting.
This is also better promotion for GT football than the usual stuff we put on billboards. #1 it’s building a connection with the actual players. A neutral fan in ATL, goes to watch a Tech game, he already knows who a few players are. That’s a stronger pool than just Georgia Tech by itself. It also has the recruits tweeting and retweeting it, and instagramming and facebooking it, further pushing the promotional value.
I live in Johns Creek.... there is one on the corner of Peachtree Parkway 141 and McGinnis Ferry.... near my church.... really cool. Rotating all the recruits...
Well we have money for jets and helicopters so I dont see why not.
Maybe we hired Billy McFarland to raise the money for us. He would definitely get it done.
Yeah I noticed that most of these pics have been from the same angle at the same location. Surely someone on staff did this to distribute to them anyway. What good is it if the kids can't show it off to their friends/family?It looks like there's a GT staffer standing in front of this billboard taking these photos then distributing them to the players. The images are too similar.
They are all on the georgiatechfb instagram which I posted on the first page.It looks like there's a GT staffer standing in front of this billboard taking these photos then distributing them to the players. The images are too similar.
Yes, but the staffer should have moved around to make it seem less mechanical. Still cool, obvs.Yeah I noticed that most of these pics have been from the same angle at the same location. If there’s one thing we are good at it’s finding something to bitch about.Yes, but the staffer should have moved around to make it seem less mechanical. Still cool, obvs.
True, but he is right. If there’s one thing we are good at it’s finding something to bitch about.

Yes I remember those days. To have a good crowd. Ugag would have to play a game at Bobby Dodd after Tech's game. Also Clemson and auburn would play every year at Dodd. Great days. Mabe we are headed that way again. We can always dreamI love this stuff. When I was a little kid, in the end of the Dodd era, towns all over Georgia had lots of Tech fans. Over time, the appeal has been lost. This kind of stuff can only bring more exposure and winning will do the rest
There are two types of brands: those on the way up and those on the way down. It’s nice to have certainly around which we are.Yes I remember those days. To have a good crowd.
