Anything to this rumor?

While I hope i am wrong, i do not believe that many NFL quality offensive skill athletes will be interested in GT given ouy system. Personally i do not care as long as we win more games.
 
It's been rumored before. Donley himself stated that he would make a decision after spring practice. There's always a chance it will come sooner.
 
Could be. Kornblutt historically plays a little fast and loose with the facts, though.
 
This is the second time that that site has writen about DJ transferring and this contracdicts DJ's comments about staying until at least spring practice made to the Macon telegraph stating "I just want to see what happens; but I ain't going nowhere.".

This is killing me, first the TJ pridemore rurmors, then Brandon Thompson rules us out, now the resurfacing of this rumor, how soon can signing day and spring practice get here?
 
Having said that, I hope CPJ would not grant a release to a player either. No need to contribute to the delinquency of a minor.
 
With his size Donley would prolly be passing up his best shot at a few years of NFL paychecks by not staying at TECH and flipping over to Safety. I think Dawan Landry's done pretty well for hisself and he came here as a QB.

D.J. could be an All-America at Safety.

Too bad a guy by the name of Morgan Burnett may have to take that spot. At least that is where he should be playing.
 
Yeah, in the AJC article earlier in the week he said he'll play whatever they want him to play.
 
Donley isn't going anywhere. He's just flexing his muscle.
 
I think its a travesty that DJ is playing WR. He needs to be a Strong Safety or LB.

You need two safeties...strong and free. I am sure we could find a spot in the defensive backfield for the two of them in the starting lineup! I know I would feel more confident about next year with it.

Tenuta is leaving at the right time....6 new starters.
