For the polls, it's not about how hard a game is to win. It's about perception of the opponent's strength. I don't think the pollsters will give enough credit for beating BC, Mercer, and Vandy to push us into the top 25 considering how many in front of us (we're not even in "others receiving votes") will have to lose for us to move up.

I'm not so sure we start the year off 1-0 in the first place. At that point the hole only gets deeper.

For this conversation, I'm assuming no losses. As a Tech fan in general, I don't take any P5 team for granted (and many non-p5 for matter).
 
Tennessee way too high. BYU should be in there somewhere. Other than that, hard to argue with.
