UGAg moved down? looool

I'll take 14th. If we're going to go any higher than that, we've got to start playing like a top 15 team.
 
I pray that PJ is getting these guys ready. Hell they should be mad when we play Miami. They need to really get nasty, I know we can win this game, but we are going to have to keep driving the ball down the field, and not quitting.

Well, we haven't proven that we should be higher. I think if we can take down Miami and North Carolina we'll be around #10, which sets up a huge showdown with VT in Atlanta. If can come in undefeated, and VT only has a loss to Alabama, it's going to be a gameday type atmosphere.

Of course, if we don't find a way to maintain focus throughout a game, it won't matter.

I'm dying, absolutely dying to see some offensive consistency and some well-put-together drives.
 
meh its pretty tough to justify us jumping ok, vt, and ohio state at this point.. ok and vt both had strong performances/blowout wins albeit against much weaker opponents...tosu ran neck and neck with perennial pretty boy usc... if clempson had more clout before our game with them we would have more ammo to warrant a higher ranking but clempson wont garner any real respect in the polls until they down bc and tcu and move to 3-1..... after we beat upstart miami on thurs and move to 3-0 we will be able to jump out from behind tosu, vt, and ok in the eyes of the nation
 
Well Vt has a tough game against !9 Nebraska, and the Miami.. I count at least one loss there :)
 
Anyone know of UGAg message boards? I want to see some reactions.
 
X, their Scout.com board is pretty active.

It's been in mini-meltdown mode since our game last year, seems like more of the same today("Where is our defense", "Joe Cox sucks", and the *occasional* "Is Richt the guy?")
 
In hindsight it might of been too much to expect our offense to start the season the same way they looked in the latter part of last season. Hopefully the offense will get into a flow as the season progresses.
 
I pray this week to prepare does some good. Hopefully they will start to get a routine together like they did last year against Miami.
 
Indeed, we musn't forget that we only had 5 days before Clemson and it's something that's probably new or unfamiliar to even Paul Johnson. Don't think Navy had done many Thurs night games, unless someone can contradict me.

No as much as I hate it I find it hard to drop a team from rankings for winning a game, no matter how bad. The exception is if your the last of the 25.

They are 1-1, we are 2-0. They were only in the poll because of preseason rankings, not actually anything they've done on the field. They should have dropped out.

I can't believe you are defending UGAg.

Considering that Clemson tends to beat South Carolina every year (one loss since 2002), our skin-of-our-teeth win might be better than their skin-of-their-teeth win.


Another note on rankings. If FSU wins their games till us then we will play 4 ranked teams out of 5 games from now on. This is also assuming UNC actually beats ECU next week.
