AP Poll

That's if FSU plays better then what they did against JSU. That game was horrible. Kind of makes you wonder.

UGAg moved down? looool

I'll take 14th. If we're going to go any higher than that, we've got to start playing like a top 15 team.

Do you mean like Oklahoma top 15, VT top 15 or Ohio State top 15? There can be debate on whether we deserve to be in the top 10, but we at least deserve to be ahead of these teams.

Why? Because we played our one non-patsy game against a slightly above average team instead of a top 5 team like VT or OSU? It's not like we demolished Clemson.

I still think we should be around 19-22. Guys we have a lot of work to do. We beat thugs and tarholes I might be willing to listen to rational thoughts. Right now, I'm worried but I'm cautiously optimistic what we can do. That's after talking to my coach friend.

There's a lot of pots calling a lot of kettles in this thread. Making fun of UGA I can understand, because by transitive property they're "worse" than University of Houston. But tOSU? VT? For what, losing close games against top 5 teams?

I agree RM. I don't think we have performed like a top 15 team yet. We've done some good things but a lot of fundamental issues still need improvement.

Agreed. I'd like to see more competence in the short to mid-range pass. Our secondary cannot get torched either. Hopefully there are adjustments we can make that is within the capacity and feasibility of the talent and experience we currently have.

Relative to other top 25 teams, we have played pretty darn well in my opinion. After the Clemson game, I felt pretty down about our performance. My hopes of 9-10 wins flew out the window and I was expecting 7 or 8. But, after watching all the games on Saturday, I feel like we are a solid top 15 team at this point in the season. Only time will tell if we drop off or improve.

My favorite thing about both the coaches poll and the ap poll on the link:

"Dropped from rankings: Notre Dame"

:)

+1

I'm no Michigan fan either but I was yelling for them on Saturday. Maybe another loss or two and we won't have to hear any more about ND this year.

Admittedly, it is going to take both luck and skill to win them all, but all of our games are winnable, and we should be favored for all but VPI. I think that we should win at least 10 games this regular season, and undefeated is not out of range. What may kill us are injuries and mistakes, if we keep those two things at a minimum, we are golden. (No pun intended.)

Michigan's QB was sharp. I would have liked to see that guy in a GT uniform running CPJ's offense. In about 2 years that kid will be making some noise. He can throw and run really well.

I agree, that guy is really good. Hopefully we can get recruits like that in the near future.

And, well, Miami.

X, their Scout.com board is pretty active.

It's been in mini-meltdown mode since our game last year, seems like more of the same today("Where is our defense", "Joe Cox sucks", and the *occasional* "Is Richt the guy?")

Yeah, I'm always amazed at how active their insider board appears to be. Then I get disgusted at how much food-stamp and welfare money is going to Scout off of that board.
