Did you hear lou holtz say he thought ND was going to the ship? He made a good point though. Other than USC, every other team they play isn't even in the top 37. If thats the case they should be 11-1. If they can beat USC they have no reason not to be 12-0. Crazy when you think about it. Utah had a tougher schedule last year!

Holtz predicted ND could play for the national title. If you look at their schedule it's not out of the realm of possibility....WHY?

1. They play no one besides USC...it's at home
2. Sportswriters loooove ND and suck the Weis Sausage

OH .... and please tell me it was a Typo with the LSU thing.

They're going to be really good....and could quite possibly play for the title again (if they beat UF i think they have a goooood chance)

LSU didn't suck last year. If they played the right QB (excuse me, had he understood the playbook before New Years) they would've won the SEC West

They'll be in a BCS bowl and inside the Top 5 by year end

Not even remotely a typo. They're not world beaters just because they beat the pants off of GT.

They're GOING to be a good team. But they're not #11.
 
Actually I think 11 is low. They will be Top 5 when it's all said and done.

Had they played that QB (jefferson I think) all year, they would've only lost maybe 2....UF and UGA I guess

I take it you do a lot more blogging than actually paying attention and understanding the game of football.

They bring back A LOOOOOOOOOOOT and Les Myles is one of if not the best college football coaches out there....like him or not

He was the Nat'l Coach of the year for a reason.

I disagree with the consensus here about LSU. I'm not sure how they'll finish this year, but I think they're on their way back down when you look at the long term. I think Les will get run out of town in 3-5 years. Just my opinion, though.

I could easily see them losing @UGA, UF, @Ole Miss and @Bama.
 
I don't see what the big deal is. The AP mostly just copied the Coaches Poll. In fact I believe they have the exact same teams just in slightly different order.

They've been on their way up since RoJan Davey beat our ass in the Peach 10 yrs ago. They've gone to 4 BCS bowls and won 2 Nat'l Titles

Here's a quick tudoring session:
1. 2 Nat'l Titles in 6 yrs...on your way up
2. Win you've won all BCS bowls you've appeared in...on your way up
3. Win you win 2 titles with 2 different coaches...on your way up

......notice a pattern yet Captain Brainiac

4. Win you have 2 Nat'l Coach of the Yr awards in 5 yrs...again, on your way up
5. Win you continue to have Top 5 or Top 10 (recruiting classes...which I don't put stock in but you can't hide it) Recruiting classes....YOU ARE ON THE WAY UP


I'm not sure what planet you're from or what galaxy far far away you are currently in, but last time I checked THAT is an impressive resume'

Last year they went down because they had 2 FANTASTIC QB's that couldn't comprehend the playbook and had to play the more knowledgeable yet less talented QB

That's the only hiccup they've had in 8 or 9 years

They've won 8 of their last 9 bowl games (4 of which were BCS bowl and 2 were Title Games

Yeah, I'm a douche why? because I'm right and atleast have a clue about what I'm talking about

or because I'm not afraid to call out those on here who post and have "ZERO" clue about what they're talking about

All opinions are different...understood. But, if you have an opinion do us all a favor and atleast bring some goods to the table to support it

That's all I'd like to see
 
The love-fest that's bound to happen over Notre Dame this season already makes me sick. The freakin' love-infatuated sports media will ignore their SOS and simply fawn over each and every win. It'll be like watching MSNBC...
