Well, the writers who record their AP votes have spoken. SEC has 3 in top 25 (6, 11 and 12; Aub UGAG and UT). The new ACC has 6 in the top 25 (3, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18; Mi, VT, FSU, Mary, NC ST and UVA).
For those with votes outside the top 25, the SEC has 5 teams, the ACC (old or new) none. The totals now include the top 47 teams.
That leaves the SEC with 4 teams and the ACC with 5 teams with no votes. SEC - Kentucky, South Carolina and Vandy; ACC - Clemson, Duke, GT, UNC and Wake.
Thus the ACC will likely have to wait another year to garner the votes to be the top FB conference. Strength of schedule will likely be used to knock ACC teams down, but not give ACC teams enough credit to move up to top 25. While, in the SEC it is set up to move SEC teams down but not out of the top 25, while the 6 teams outside of the top 25 are poised to move up.
Well, enough whining for the following year it will be obvious to all that the ACC is the premiere FB conference!
