I believe we set out to pass more against LSU. JN looked uncomfortable in doing so. He over threw on several occasions. Yes, our O-line was manhandled by there D-line.
Once we install more passing on a regular basis, and become more comfortable, teams cannot focus exclusively on the run. I've always stated the 3-0 is much more effective when you can pass.
Don't worry. We are getting there.
I agree. A better passing threat by this QB or the next one along with improved interior (G-C-G) play will make this offense very hard to deal with for anybody. People will have alls sorts of "buts" when I say this:
We are back to having a QB who hasn't shown he can complete 50% of his passes. I'm not sure too many top tier teams have completion percentages that low.
