Are we having a 1994 Bill Lewis Season in 2015?

Just watched end of the highlights on 46 and Kalil must have an ax to grind with PJ. Had some commentary about "the buyout may be hefty but it's something they may want to think about" if things don't turn around. Then he pretty much accused PJ of not taking responsibility, even though the sound bite he played had PJ saying "ultimately, I'm responsible."

1994, it was wondering how bad each loss would be. This year, it's how many toes can we point the shotgun at on the way to losing

"Never as good or as bad as it seems" really applies to GTFLETCH. Wasn't he the poster which had a bunch of, basically, "how many national championships will Paul Johnson win?" posts?

Since I wasn't around in 1994, I always assumed we got blown out of every game. Interestingly, we played some apparently good teams close such as Arizona to start the year. But in the second half, we lost to teams much worse than teams we have lost to this year. Wake Forest was 3-8 and Clemson was 5-6 that year.

Somebody without an axe to grind would see some big differences in the schedule strength and injuries, as well as Lewis' and CPJ's records up to 1994/2015.

I did post that I thought with this schedule we could win the ACC and make the CFP, however like 1994 we are tanking..... The funny thing is it is not the freshman, hell BB M. Marshall and LB. B. Mitchell could be given game balls for today...

It seems like CPJ has lost the OLINE (who only lost one starter from last year) and the Wideouts (1 senior and 1 red shirt Sophmore)..... Todays loss felt like a 1994 loss, Why in week 7 is our OLINE not able to pass protect??? Because they have quit...bottomline....We have lost the bowl streak and when kids quit playing you may need a change with the coaching staff..

Jeminy Christmas, Tech might suck but they don't suck that bad.......yet........maybe...

Start comparing to 1980 and 1981 and get back to me

The 1980 and '81 seasons were each outstanding in their own way. In 1980, we tied Notre Dame to knock them out of the #1 spot. That is the only season I remember GT going defeated (as compared to undefeated).

GT started the '81 season by beating #1 Alabama; I remember Norm Van Brocklin tearing a Crimson Tide pennant in two on TV after the game. That was the year we had "The Georgia Tech Legend Lives". Good times!
