Idiot. It just means that Troy State is good. Votes are not rankings.
 
Damn. The SECESPN spin has begun already. Projections have two and even three SEC teams in the playoffs now.

Could only be Auburn, but they play both ugag and Alabama, who will likely play each other in the SEC title game. Barring something utterly wonky happening in other conferences, the SEC is only getting one in.

Ah. Yeah, they're delusional obviously but this is particularly sad. There may have been a couple of season in the past where that would but a #hottake but this year it's just pathetic. Alabama and Georgia would both need to be 12-0, ranked #1 and #2. and play to the wire in the SECCG. That's just for them to get two in. There is no possible scenario where they get a third.

Fortunately, neither of them will matter. We can't control whether Georgia makes a second trip to Atlanta, but we'll be there waiting for them on the first trip to make sure there's not a third.

Would be great if UGA gets beat by Auburn and us; yet still goes to the SEC title game because the SEC east is so weak. UGA could go on to be SEC Champs with 2 losses by defeating Alabama; SEC gets no teams into playoffs.

Bama would still get in with 1 loss. If Ohio State got in with their situation last year, no way the Tide gets left out.

Regardless, I would also love to see that situation play out just to have the dwags piss and moan about getting left out.

ESPN College Gameday going to James Madison this weekend. Had we cracked the top 25, we'd have the only game between ranked opponents and maybe they'd have considered slumming in Miami?
