Kevin WhiteheadOh, if I had a daughter, sir, I'd dress her in white and gold,
And put her on the campus To cheer the brave and bold.
But if I had a son, sir, I'll tell you what he'd do--
He'd yell: 'TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!' Like his daddy used to do.

Teresa Milner AbbottShe's the daughter of the Red and Black,
She's for Georgia and she'll never take it back.
Can't hold herself in check,
When she yells "To hell with Tech,"
Or the yellow jackets give her any slack,... Read More
When she dances she's a dream,
Reg'lar sugar coated cream,
Her red lips and black eyes are fair to see.
Glory, glory to old Georgia,
That's the song my Georgia baby sings to me.

Michael AbbottWow that is nice. I had not seen the media guide yet. We are still in denial, I see. That is okay we have to give you one every once in awhile so you will keep playing us.

about an hour ago · Delete

Kevin WhiteheadWell, though it was a while back, 60's I think, we do still own the longest winning streak in the series.

about an hour ago · Delete

Michael AbbottI do not count those because we were not born yet.

54 minutes ago · Delete

Kevin WhiteheadThen we still have more National Championships then.

54 minutes ago · Delete

Michael Abbottokay science fair national chamions do not count.

52 minutes ago · Delete

Kevin WhiteheadWe certainly have way more of those, but this works too.

Michael AbbottI see you open up with the powerhouse of Jacksonville St. While we open up with a real opponent like Oklahoma State, which is ranked in the top ten.

Kevin WhiteheadUm, Georgia Southern last year? C. Michigan?

Given yall have a stout schedule this year, but at least we schedule 3 SEC teams.

But hey, yall are almighty Georgia, this best team in the world, yall can handle it.

Michael AbbottI see you are going to play with the big boys this year. But you are still in the ACC (Almost Competitive Confrence).

Kevin Whitehead7 outta top 10 ACC:

Kevin WhiteheadFrom one of your sites

"But, the final big stat relevant to the SEC vs ACC rivalry is that the ACC was the only conference in 2008 to beat the SEC in head to head competition. Despite going 0-2 vs the SEC in bowl games, the ACC still managed to take 6 of 10 games between the two conferences in 2008. "

Michael AbbottAbout time

Michael AbbottYou know why the strength of schedule is so high because all the top teams schedule an ACC team for there out of conference games because they know they can easily win. I would not be suprised if someone like Oklahoma would schedule GT as their homecoming game.

Kevin WhiteheadSo you are saying that half of the SEC are not easy wins?
Kentuck,
Arkansas,
South Carolina,
Vandy,... Read More
Miss St.,
Ole Miss (Until this year)
Auburn (Recently)
Bama(Until recently)

Michael AbbottWow you are stretching there. I will give you Miss. St., Vandy and Kentucky. But you have Duke, Maryland, NC State, and UNC until this year.

2 minutes ago · Delete

Kevin WhiteheadNC State is probably the most underrated team in football. They will surprise. Same with Wake Forest.
Duke is getting better quickly. They have a great defense, but no QB or O line. They had Va Tech beat last year until the 4th.

Keep it coming. It's always fun to watch the back and forth in the argument. Great arguments by the GT guy. Typical lame-tard arguments by the SEC guy (arguments with no substance whatsoever).

Gotta say the UGA person is winning, you're arguing on the defensive. Try to switch it so they're the one defending themselves. Just don't take the snobby road (i.e., we'll be your bosses, make more money, etc.). That only reinforces the stereotypes.

I wish I had the last ten seconds of my life back(that's how long it took me to scroll down to the quick reply box.)

Taking the snobby road is another way of saying "I can't think of enough logical football arguments."

Sad but true that occasionally you'll run across a UGA grad in charge of GT guys.

The Vice President of Sales for the North American branch of my company went to UGA. And this is an engineering company, too. In the field of Sales Engineering, nowadays anyway, they typically hire engineer grads because they are more technically oriented. However, that didn't stop a UGAer from figuring out how to read electrical diagrams, sell well, and rise to the top.

Kevin,

that yellow jacket power poem/rap you got at the bottom of your sig... did you come up with that? it sounds like something one of the GTG's would have come with.
