Around the Horn

The hesitation sucked many of them upfield and then given that vast majority are OL, once wall set, it was OVERz

At first when I saw their #4 near him I thought, "Oh no, their RB can catch him" but they also have a DT #4 and I figured out the guy on the field was way bigger than Cook.

Pitt was trailing? It was tied wasn't it?
Yup, my bad.

I thought they were trailing when they kicked that FG.

No different from the FSU situation in that case.

My exact thoughts in the stands as FSU lined up to kick essentially the exact same distance FG. How bad would it have been to lose the same way two weeks in a row.

Really, really, really shitty. It's about time something went our way.

Indeed. As they were sending out the kick team I thought "there's no way we could lose this way two weeks in a row" and then "oh god, that sounds exactly like something we would do."

They had their big boys in to block. The only ones who had a chance were the holder and the kicker and they whiffed.

I feel like most of the Noles thought the play was over and were turned to head to their sideline. Our players celebrated towards ours. Once everyone not named Golden or Austin realized it was a live ball we had a wall of willing defenders set-up on our side of the field.

I found it interesting that Austin ran toward our sideline when he was closer to FSU's side when he picked up the ball. His back was toward the North. I wonder if he ran that way because he eventually saw the players heading toward their respective sidelines, and figured he'd have blockers this way? Or was it just a natural move to run toward home?

Dalvin Cook said he was tempted to leave the sideline and attempt the tackle. He should have. What would have happened if the entire FSU sideline ran on the field and stopped the TD? Anyone know? I bet there would have been a penalty enforced on the first play of OT. This of course would have been a better outcome for them.

Refs could award us the TD

TD would have been awarded.

They kicked from the left hash, their players were closer to their sideline.
