Yea. The passing game was usually designed to go one way, either to the WR or the A-back in some sort of route combo. We rarely had ever threw to the back side WRWaller really stepped up when Smelter went down vs. UGA in 2014--those last few games were some of the best of his career. I don't think he was the same player then mentally, and while the offense allowed wide receivers to shine, the scarcity of throws meant it was hard for multiple receivers to get a great deal of touches (so it's probably not coincidental that he stood out when Smelter was out).
