Waller really stepped up when Smelter went down vs. UGA in 2014--those last few games were some of the best of his career. I don't think he was the same player then mentally, and while the offense allowed wide receivers to shine, the scarcity of throws meant it was hard for multiple receivers to get a great deal of touches (so it's probably not coincidental that he stood out when Smelter was out).
Yea. The passing game was usually designed to go one way, either to the WR or the A-back in some sort of route combo. We rarely had ever threw to the back side WR

had Walker been the primary guy he would have gotten a lot more looks
