Article on our O Line

When it's time to start hitting again, it will probably take a day, or one good shot from a linebacker or one of our ridiculous D-linemen.

Our D-linemen are so good. It will probably take one good shot from one of them to get me angry and back into it.

Yeah, baybee!

What I find most interesting about this is that Nick Claytor and Dan Voss were injured much earlier in the year last season. Andrew Gardner played injured for a while as well. How mess up 'was' our OL last season?

I find it fairly amazing that three of our starting OL required surgery after the season. Is that normal? Also, AJ Smith was constantly nursing that arm/elbow. As Coach Johnson said, they were "holding together with bailing wire and duct tape," or something like that.

Not to mention that David Brown has his career end early as well.

Gardner, Voss, Claytor, Brown and Smith all played through injury last fall. This is what bothered me so much about folks being uber-critical of the OL. All those guys are warriors.

Kind of a side note - The discussion on the lunchtime links is absurd! I knew Miami had a complex but HOLY CRAP!! Some of those guys aren't making any sense at all... just mindless bantering

"I really, really, really want a championship," he said. "Getting healthy and getting back in shape, that's not even a goal -- that's going to happen. The goal is to win games." - Nick Claytor

Joseph & Cord were also banged up and were forced to miss some time due to injuries as well although they did play in every game
