Charles Kelly as co-DC with Thacker.
Major Applewhite or Zach Kittley as OC with Weinke staying as QB coach
Ideally Choice as RB coach but another good choice would be Joe Hamilton. He served as the RB coach at Georgia State and their RB's went through the entire season without fumbling the ball.

I really liked chip kelly, but i don't see a reason to hire him. Thacker seems to be doing quiet well at DC now, so why try to bring another cook into the kitchen? I don't think Choice makes a lateral move back to tech, and I don't think he's ready for OC. We really need an experienced OC to take the helm and fix our issues there.

Rhule just hired Gef so he clearly isn’t a good judge of character or coaching ability.

I think Joe would be a great coach!

I don't think Joe's a good bet either. He's been out of the coaching game for nearly a decade iirc. He was a position coach for about 4 years and spent some time with recruiting but that's it.

Chip Kelly might not fit as DC, but I'd take him as an OC ;).

This. Hire Chaney for OL coach - not NOT as OC. He seemed to be a really good OL coach before being promoted beyond his capability. The D was better last year, Thacker responded to the challenge pretty well, but we were still not up to snuff. Our Total D rank for 2022 was #87.
