ASU playing to win the game

Good lord. I've always found Herm annoying and pretentious but this is next level. What a buffoon.
C'mon, man. That's harsh. Herm's biggest problem has always been insufficient winning. Same as most coaches.

I'm not referring to his coaching ability. It's his stubborn I-know-better-than-you attitude and condescension that I find grating. That's not really uncommon among sports TV personalities, but I've always found him particularly unbearable in that regard.

I have no idea how successful he will be or not be, but looking forward to the post-game press releases. This could be fun.

He is literally surrounded by fiery pitchforks. What does he think those are?

It's gonna be fascinating to watch. I can honestly see him doing well in recruits' living rooms, giving vague inspirational speeches to parents about commitment and hard work. I assume the coordinators are going to do the x's and o's. Who knows? ASU may be on to something here. Or it could be a hilarious disaster. I do lean toward the latter.

Am I the only one here who realizes that he was joking?

One of my favorite coaches and probably the most personable one that I ever met. The guy will literally sit down with you no matter who you are and talk football and life with you. I think he will do well, he should be a strong recruiter because he truly cares about his players as if they are his own family.
