I agree, the odds are great Gailey will be here until the end of the year. If his performance is satisfactory, he will also be here the next year.
If his performance is not satisfactory this year, then all bets would be off after the end of the year.

Gailey is a poor dolt, although a very rich one, who is a pawn. Braine will use him to fire to try to buy his own guilty self another 2 or three years as AD.
Here is the only formula to restore GT football:
(1) Either run Clough out of office or re-establish the power base, and tell him the facts of life.
(2) Fire Braine immediately
(3) Fire Carol Moore and anyone you see walking across campus with a wool blazer, turtleneck, or a beard.
(4) Fire the strength coach just because we are on a roll
(5) Fire Chan Gailey - BUT, FOC are right about one thing, at least let him coach one season without Braine as his boss. So Braine needs to go first!
