I boomed your mom.Whatever boomer..
I boomed your mom.Whatever boomer..
I hear you, and agree with refraining from criticizing amateur athletes. But when you start cashing checks for your performance, you’re now a professional. And public criticism goes with that job. Also,as a general rule, people don’t like to be preached down to. I’m not sure what sort of response you anticipated from this thread.I am starting to see fans attack kids for decommitting or wanting to transfer out. Saying that they are poor character or "bye Felicia" does not make us look good. I get it. I understand that we feel like they should honor commitments. However; I offer this. If you were working for a company that was failing and you saw no future, would YOU stay or leave for a better opportunity? Regardless people.. Please stop attacking these kids. It's a bad look on us. Not to mention could sway future commitments and / or transfer portal players. I may be the only one that thinks this.. But, stay classy.. Respect the choices these kids make. You don't have to support it. You don't have to wish them the best... But, don't go out of the way to talk about their character and such. rant over.... LOL
God showed them the light at GT then the darkness with the mutts"Committed!! All glory to God for my GT offer!! I am 100% onboard."
3 months later...
"Re-opening my recruitment. Praying that God shows me the way."
Blasphemous. Let them take their lumps in public with this behavior.
But it makes him feel a sense of self superiority that he’s lecturing others about how they should behave betterThis stuff happens at every school with every fanbase. Making a post on a message board is not likely to change that here or elsewhere.
The kids wanted to get paid, now they are and have to deal with the associated fallout from their decisions. Some of them we will love, others we will hate and there are plenty more we won't have a care about.
Welcome to grown up land sonny.
Well that's a relief since none of these kids are going to be on boomers-only-Facebook.I am seeing these comments on FB. Which isn't good. At least, in my opinion.
I take your point that just like every fan base we have some sorry fans--you can't choose who is a fan of your team--but I think per capita we have fewer than a lot of the teams around us, and that makes us better. No one thinks Georgia Tech when they think "trashy fans".First of all, we aren’t any better than any other fanbase. We like to pretend we are, that we’re classier and we have these arbitrary rules about being Tech men and Tech men not behaving a certain way.
Pretty sure this is a hallucination. Wonder if I can post in it.
edit: holy öööö
Ur*I boomed your mom.
