Box score (notoriously inflated) says 32K attendance yesterday. Doesn’t that seem a little low? It wasn’t full, but it was a respectable crowd. 32K is below even our recent average, IIRC.

Upper east was pathetic. Obviously upper north above the walkway was practically empty. I don't think I saw a single person in section 201, worst seats in the stadium, BTW.
 
Atmosphere good. Student sections into it. South end zone better filled in. Lower upper north into it.

Will take awhile to get the bandwagoners back into the upper decks.

I sit in 216 on the walkway and just noticed last night how empty the overhang part of 218/219 is/was. That was kind of shocking. Important to realize we are still at the bottom.

If we start winning and get to 50k+ and Key is our coach, I think there should be Heisman like bonuses tied to his contract. Heisman got something like 10% of gross gate receipts, which is why we expanded to the largest stadium in the south on his watch. I'd have no problem having a head coach get 10% of gross ticket sales for all sales over 40k (full priced tix). If we get to 50k regularly @$100 a ticket average, you bank $100k for the game. 6 home games is a potential $600k at just the 10,000 sales over 40,000. Really you could shoot for the 55k (15k over) if we were to get good enough to sellout, $150k a game.

That could be one incentive.

I think we look at, if Key coaches sid the rest of the season, retaining him, make it $2 million a season, have heavy incentives that could take him to $4 million-$5 million (attendance, record, ACCC appearance/win, bowl tier bonus, playoff big bonus)

I ran out of screaming and sound like a hoarse duck this morning. I was yelling all game on third down and such, but after the BS roughing call I was nonstop. Yell during Duke possession entire time. Boo and scream at refs during timeout.

BTW, we actually had a "YELLOW"......"JACKETS" crowd chant last night.

Yeah and the retarded "hype guy" was trying to lead it during the play... The game production was so bad and embarrassing last night.
 
I bet there weren't 50 fans in 222. After that BS roughing the QB call, I was so incensed that I walked up from my seat in the 3rd row to about halfway up in the section, where nobody was, just to take time to cool off and compose myself.

We thought you were going up there to jump. The entire crowd was booing and saw you and then all started chanting "JUMP.....JUMP....JUMP...." We wanted to sacrifice a virgin, but the foreign Korean students really don't attend our games, so we figured you would do.
