Attendance

If you don't show up at a game you can't disrupt a play on ANY down, including a 52 yard FG attempt to win the ballgame by the opponent. Let me guess, you made noise from the Lazy Boy.
Guaranteed I’ve made more noise at the games I’ve attended than those you have Mr 3rd Down Warrior lol

Whether it comes from a fan currently in the stands, one at home on the couch, a former sidewalk fan, or the fan of another team…you can’t really argue this…..

if you only holler on 3rd and 4th down for the D. You are of little value to the D on 1st or 2nd down. Which are both kinda critical to getting to 3rd down in the first place. You think a QB doing an audible on 1st down is not affected by crowd noise?

If this message offends you it’s probably got a lot to do with self reflection.

The degree to which you are missing the point here is truly spectacular... Just a statuesque disregard for context and content.

Everyone has the right to vote with their wallet. You are clearly exercising that right. What isn't clear is whether you ultimately want Tech to succeed or not. You post downright negative, or at the least contrary crap in every thread on this board, and your activity has amped up in the last couple of weeks when positive changes have been occuring. You really honestly think that anyone else in this thread cares about how loud you used to be on first and second down, or that it is somehow material to our attendance woes? In fact, you are emblematic of the attendance problem; you are concocting a lame straw man to justify being a milquetoast fan.

I brought 5 to the game yesterday, and had a damn good time in section 218 on a beautiful day. I yelled a lot, as I usually do, not that it really matters at all.

What team have you been following since you gave up the ghost on Tech, pray tell? I have a pretty good idea.

No. You’re actually completely clueless. But I appreciate how close you seem to follow me. It’s cute. But I don’t swing your way.

More and more, I've been talking to or hearing about folks who either gave up longtime season tix last year or were going to after this year had Clown stuck around.
The folks behind my buddy's seats were pretty much set on this being their last year.
Now, they're ready to re-up.

The problem with this year's attendance now is, when we look back on it, it was a pretty sucky home schedule. Western Carolina? Dook? Virginia? None of them are going to bring a lot of people. Neither will Da U.
I didn't really look at how many Ole Miss people came - just at the huge number of Tech people who didn't for that game, and I can't blame em in the least.

I don't think this team is headed to 3-9 now. So I hope next year can build on this year's results and, without having looked at it yet, I hope the home schedule is a lot better for draws. The final home game of the year in 2023 notwithstanding.

No some are more. I asked the vendor how much the ipa was and he said, "I think $12." Was an odd response but it sounded like everyone was settling for $10 ultras
Premium beers are $12.

This year is better than next year. Other than UGA game we have UNC, Louisville, Bowling Green, Syracuse, and BC. I think Louisville is slated to be played in MBS.

So 5 true home games again?

Then öööö off and go do something else. You contribute nothing at games, you contribute nothing to the program, and you contribute nothing to this board (especially banging on about what somebody may or may not have said years ago on some other bullshit board).

öööö you and have a nice day.

That’s why I have his pansy ass on ignore. All he does is bitch like a little bitch.

In a *normal* year, a home schedule that included Clemson (AT GRANT FIELD) and Ole Miss would have been a great draw.

There's one problem with this year's attendance, and he is gone.

Bowling Green again? WTH?
Don't tell me we're going there at some point? I'd rather go to Bowling Green, Kentucky to see the Corvette museum and the Bowling Green High Purples.
Syracuse? BC? Louisville at MBS?
If we can throw Wake in there, we'd have nearly every team that travels like crap for a home game. Wake's a good team, but that is not a big fan base.
I blame Stansbury.

seems like games are more and more made for TV productions anyway

Some day CGI fans will be widely used.
