That part is still great. The Stockbridge/Rex area off of 42 and rex road is tough. There are pockets of decent neighborhoods but they're dwindling. It's a shame how Clayton County died. Used to be some of the best schools in the nation.

I grew up in Clayton County and went to Jonesboro HS. It used to be a great place. My in-laws are in their 80s and have lived in Forest Park off Morrow Road for over 40 years. It is a God send that they've had no trouble.

Good lord man, send in the troops! We used to ride mountain bikes behind Kohl's on 138 before it was developed. Amazing number of old ruins and stone bridges back there along the creek which were bulldozed for a house farm development. Shame how ClayCo went to hell.
