Word on this side of The 'Hooch, both from the Aubbies & Bammers, is Tubby's wife had an affair(s), then moved out mid-season. She had said she wanted no more of being a HC's wife and the rest is up to your imagination.

I have never heard anything about this and I am not sure if it would have any bearing if it were true as TT does want to get back into coaching.

I'm fairly certain that is the apocryphal story of what happened when Ed Orgeron took the Ole Miss job.

They've just switched the names.

Coach O is crazy, so that probably actually did happen at Ole Miss.

Were you surprised at all by Tommy Tuberville’s decision to leave?
Yes. I’m a great supporter of Tommy. I think he’s a class guy, I think he’s professional. I was surprised when he resigned. I had just talked to him a long time and I think Tommy probably decided that he wanted to do what was best for he and his family and I respect that greatly. But a class guy, did great things at Auburn and certainly he has my most respect.
