Auburn's Tony Franklin fired

6 games...that did not take long.

Good to see the schools of higher eduction closely monitoring the important stuff.

Take away Al Borges and OCs under Tuberville hang around about 1 year (on average). And a couple of guys named Ronnie Brown, Jason Campbell, and Cadillac Williams (all seniors when Borges took over) made him look like a genius.

How can you implement an offensive system in less than a year?

You are moron. He still has his system in place, regardless of how much of the playbook has been used.

Hey, dip****, after talking with my good friend there who is a coach, THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS NOT IN PLACE. Shut your pie hole and be the little bitch you should be.

He said "system" not "whole system."

Learn the difference, tool.

Well one thing's for sure, PJ either has a lot more of his system installed than Tony Franklin did, or PJs system is just a whole lot better.

Or Auburn's players just suck. But I doubt that.

It made be ahead of our expectations but the system won't be fully implemented until he has his own players running it. Exhibit A: the OL. Exhibit B: A backs. Exhibit C: B Back after Dwyer. Exhibit D: True FR backup QB - bypassed more experienced QBs on the depth chart because he was recruited for the system.

Can't say that I'm a football insider in any way but I can see this whole story getting ugly.

LOL at Kyle and John

Tony Franklin was terrible.

Glad somebody's entertained by that.

So what are they going to do now? Toss out the playbooks, get a whole new thing going for Arkansas in three days?

Edit: Also, nice to see that people's heads still roll when they lose to Vandy. The world feels a little less upside down now.

I wonder how many times a team ranked in the top 25 has fired one of its coordinators mid-week.

It's almost as if Auburn shouldn't be ranked... nah, they play in the SSSSSEEEEECCCCC. They should be top 11, right after Ole Miss but before Arkansas.

:laugher:
Just by firing the OC alone they should get back into the top 20, perhaps they will release some revised, mid-week rankings to correct this?

You truly are an idiot. Your mommy and daddy must be proud.

Careful, John, you don't want a child abuse charge. :hsugh:

OTOH, I love it... this is an absolute embarrassment for the polls and the SEC. They have insisted on drinking the Kool-Aid and ranking an SEC team that had no reason being ranked, and overlooking several deserving teams, 3 from the ACC including GA Tech.

What a black-eye!
