Ball rumor

A senior. It's a shame to get this far and let grades be the determining factor for ending your career.

Would Scott or any other players that are deemed academically ineligble get a ring if GT wins?

I hope this isn't recycling because I haven' read any of the rest of the post but...

It was rumored over the summer (I even remember who posted it) that Scott was an eligibility risk for his full SR season.

to be a senior starter in the defensive backfield who didn't make his grades. Sad way to end up if it costs him the last game of his career. I thought they could play as long as the next semester didn't start? Not at all surprised if he's had NFL on the brain this semester and didn't put forth the effort.
I don't see why he'd focus on the NFL when it's obvious he's a poor quarterback. If he thinks he has even a snowball's shot in hell, he's disillusioned.

Its in the Macon Tele this morning. I hate it for both of them but now I might try to find some last minute tickets.

He's talking about KS, not Reggie. Kenny is considered a good bet for the NFL.

Gailey off the hook?

In one regard this takes Gailey off the hook for making the call on Ball at gametime. It was going to be the major question mark going into the game: that is, would Gailey pull Reggie if he sucked up the place like he has the past two games.

Now no one will expect us to win the game, however, and we have nothing to lose. This is a good position to be in as long as we don't get embarrassed by a very good team.

All this negativity over whether or not to play Ball may save us a recruit or two now. All this bickering and in fighting did not look good to a prospect.

All I've got to say is showem what you are made of Yellow Jackets. And Taylor Bennett, that window of opportunity has just flown wide open for you. Seize the day, young man.

I don't see Gailey as being on any hook. He's such a stubborn, dufus of a head coach that he has no qualms about hanging with RB to the bitter end.
