What luck! Now is our chance boys! Strike while the iron is hot. Time for a new HC.

So, how is this situation any different than Jameis Winston and FSU? Does this mean that Jimbo should be fired?

I don't get how the head football coach is to blame for how the school handles allegations of misconduct of football players? Surely it isn't his job?

Whichever middling program that has nothing to lose takes on the PR nightmare that will be Briles is going to get really good really fast. Rape and murder aside (that sounds wrong...) he's one of the few guys that I think would be a better fit at Tech than CPJ. He would still provide a somewhat unique offense, but wouldn't bring all the stigma around run-heavy offenses that this generation seems to maintain. He'd probably recruit a little better and still put up points - likely at a more consistent level.

My understanding is the university didn't investigate or act on the allegations at all, and the Baylor players retaliated against another Baylor player who had helped an alleged victim. (Sorry, not having the "alleged" in there feels wrong.)

For my gold-colored glasses, Miami, UNC and Baylor put the ~$150 in surplus clothes from Calvin Brooker in perspective.
