Uhh, yeah, I know that. But the people on that board were on other boards (ie, this one), and continually professed their anger that so-and-so didn't get the job, but Chan did.

BTW, I was also banned at that time and had not even taken part in that thread!

Jerry, I welcome your participation here in discussing our football team both good and bad, but to come here defending your hero beebad and that so-called forum is just too much for people to take. Forget about buzzoff and come here for real discussion. Or stay there and puff out your chest about how you really let the "stinktalkers" have it and keep your supposed "defense of the truth" where it belongs.
 
True I did call you GTLIE, I also pointed out to you some of your falsehood. You need to learn to read I am not defending BB, the board or anything. Just making clear that BOGEY lied. I pointed it out, as did another. You keep harping about one guy, well bud do you want me to go to the archives and pull out your statement where you cussed me? Ok, the better part of me says not to ask this, but my curiousity is killing me.

Explain to me the "Truth" about buzzoff and the "truth" that is discussed there? I hear a lot about the truth, but for the life of me, I don't know what that is.

Maybe you can shed some light on the "truth" about our program and coach that the others here don't understand.

So take all the time in the world to explain Oldfogy, but when you get a chance, please give me your answer as to what is the truth when it comes to Buzzoff and our football coach. We have gotten so wrapped up in talking about it, but I never seem to be able to put my finger on what is actually true.

OK BOR I'll try and use 5 grade English for you. BOGEY told a falsehood about that thread, now can you understand that? One guy a TECH student made that post. He was jumped by almost everyone who posted on that thread! Do you understand that? So for you BOR to defend a falsehood by Bogey tells me something about your English comprehension! Now enough we have exposed Bogey, and for me and many others I will always have doubts in my mind about his veracity (oops sorry BOR but thats a 10th grade word) for telling it like it is!

GTL, I would love to discuss GT sports but when I see a post like Bogeys I have to speak up. You should also, many others should speak up and tell it like it is. NOW ENOUGH of this thread, the subject has been expose so let it go! Lets talk about the double reverse, the so called interferences the dang holding etc!
 
You've never been able to discuss football with out bringing up the past with Dodd and the 50's.

Because, ultimately, that's what we are discussing here which is: The falsehoods discussed on Buzzoff about our program and coach. At least that is what Bogey is infering in his thread and referencing an example.

So you may disagree with his example. But my question was more universal than that one example. I asked first why you defend buzzoff? I asked you what truths do we misunderstand about buzzoff as a whole? What truths do we not understand about our coach?

Please help me. I have a weak mind and maybe you can shed some light on these things without insulting my comprehension skills.

I don't understand board warfare... I read the Hive, Stingtalk and Buzzoff each a great deal before deciding which forums to post on. Reading Buzzoff made me grumpy and pissed off (as reading the prose and various rantings of illogical and confused people usually does), and just thinking about the futility of trying to entertain an argument with the BO folks makes my skin crawl.

I think that sums up BO to the majority of people who have visited there.
 
I used to post there.

I don't know why I did. But it finally occurred to me that if peepad, MsTA, oldfoggy, CEJacket and GoldenTornado ONLY had each other to talk to, the board would shut down. My heartfelt joy at that prospect was enough to self-impose a lifelong ban from Buzzoff.

I do still read the board some. Bad habit, must break...
 
Has anyone else noticed this was started by a guy who's only posted 5 times even though he's been a member since January 2004?

Anyone else wondering if someone's just trying to stir the pot?
