Buzztheirazz, it used to be that way, but somehow cable channels have made HD faster. I know this because in doctor's lounge there are 2 TV's ... the other weekend we were watching the olympics, and the HD channel was 1-2 seconds faster than the non-HD channel. Had to go ask the guys watching the non-HD to change to HD so the voices would be sync.
And then when I was watching BC/GT this weekend, had the radio on to Wes. Do not know if it was because I was listening to a secondary feed (listening to 100.1 in Macon) but Wes was easily 10-15 seconds behind each play ( A play would finish, go to huddle and break huddle and line up--and then I would hear Wes's call). Maybe that will not be the case every game, but definitely last game it was the case...and now if VT/GT is the same way, I am just going to pause the game at kickoff, and then as soon as Wes announces the kick, hit the play button--and see if that works.
