BCS Loses All Credibility

Sean Salisbury was saying the same thing last week on the Butt & Kincaid Show. He wants the system to implode. As far as I'm concerned, if UGA gets in the BCSCG, it's Chan's fault.
 
When you think about itthe other senario works good to. I would bet anything that some patheticgroup of mutts would file a lawsuit agains the BCS if they get bypassed. It makes you get a warm fuzzy feeling when you think about all the knuckle draggers crapping their collective pants when they get passed by.

If only LSU wasn't hampered by injuries and had the defense they had earlier in the year. That matchup would end up looking worse than last year's UF/OSU game.
 
The BCSCG will more than likely pit OSU vs LSU.

The only real argument for UGA is the past history of rewarding teams that win down the stretch --usually teams that lose late lose out. However, that mindset was pre-conference championship games. I cannot see any team --UGA or otherwise-- that does not even PLAY in it's conference championship making it into the BCS over a team that wins said same conference and has the same amount of losses and one more win.
 
The problem is that it has happened before (Nebraska in 2001 didn't go to the Big 12 conf. championship game and went to the "national championship" game). But it hasn't happened for a 2 loss team before. LSU is currently #7 - can they jump to #2 even though only 2 teams ahead of them lost? Hopefully the voters don't want a repeat of 2001. If they vote according to the previous week's ranking only, then I'll be the biggest Ohio State fan outside the state of Ohio. It makes me sick to think about it.
