beej67....nervous?

Kirbee,

I agree with your post and your logic. Next year is probably when the bowl streak stops and would give the next coach a bunch of young talent. I also agree that we would fall off a lot of talented coach's lists when the story is reported that we fired a coach who took us to a bowl and is one year removed from the ACC championship game.

Assuming we add a weak non conferecne team i see no reason this team can't go 7-5 and 4-4 in the ACC next year.

Next year's schedule is not that tough.

Does FSU really scare you right now? MIA at home???? UVA at home? clemson and VT look really tough along with Ugag but other than those three games we should be favored or about favored in every game IMO.

There is no reason we can't go 7-5 next year with the playmakers we have on offense and defense and 27 new freshman who will immediately change the tone of the program.

No offense THWG, but where are these returning playmakers? If anything I see a bunch of athletes that have no idea how to actually make a play. I see a QB that throws a nice catchable frisbee, another QB that cannot hold on to the ball, WRs that have frying pans for hands, and some potential at RB but nothing as solid as Deuce.

No mention of all we lose on defense. And that's just the players. Got to include Tenuta in the losses now, too.

We haven't beat FSU in a couple decades, a trip to BC won't be fun, neither will a trip to Chapel Hill. VT, UGA and Clemson may all be preseason top 10.

There's a lot of work to do for the new guy and an expectation that he exceed 7 wins. Anything less has to be considered a failure.

I like crow with Hot Sauce.

Or maybe teriyaki.

Rad's got more nads than I thought.

You win. What you want to do?

Lol, I had to eat some serious crow about a month ago on here, talking about Fridge's pass/run ratios. (I STILL swear I saw somewhere that he was 60/40 pass/run) Anyone who says they don't know what crow tastes like is a liar.

Lets see what bowl we get, and maybe we can hook up then to watch it. Depends on where we end up as to what my schedule is likely to be. We'll figure something out - no rush.

We have a serious serious serious lack of play making ability at WR. Every time my wife and I are watching any other football game, and anybody catches a pass, she says "Gosh I wish we had guys who knew how to catch."
