Best band in college football?

I like the ban Ok....I just can't stand the new version of Ramblin Wreck that they started playing about 5 years ago....it's hard to sing the last versus to and reminds me of a bunch of Notre Dame "gay leprechaun" BS......hate it ....hate it....hate it!!!!!!

I really love our band. I remember in the 80's, when I don't even think we had a tuba. Fans used to hum along when the band played, so it could be heard at road games. Now, it is terrific. Our band has come a very land way, and it adds so much to our games.

FSU has a music school. Always good if your band is populated with aspiring professionals.

Ohio Stare gets top marks for the creativity of their routines.

Either this happened more like 10+ years ago, or it went completely unnoticed by me.

anybody remember the Ebony Bowl they used to play at GaTech? it was two traditionally-black schools and they would have their marching bands parade down 3rd street (now Bobby Dodd Way) into the stadiums. the bands were easily 3x the size of the football teams

it was pretty awesome to watch and listen to

From what I understand with HBCUs, the marching bands are the show and not the football teams.

We may have whooped South Carolina State a few years ago in football, but their band destroyed ours at half time.
