Best defense GT faced in your lifetime

2009 Iowa, 2004 Miami, 2008 LSU all come to mind. ....And 2008 Gardner-Webb, of course. :-)

While we scored 3 against LSU in 08, the shut out against FSU in 98 seems equally as bad.

Edit: meant the 51-0 1993 home shut out

1956--#2 GT vs #3 Tenn= UT 6--GT 0. Absolutely broke my heart.

2004 Miami. Middle LB for Da U was practically taking the snap from our center he was in the backfield so fast.

Hard to really say, but I always remember the 3-3 ND game in 1980. The one that unfortunately lifted UGA to the #1 spot.

But ND still had their chance to beat UGA.

They gave up 10 points a game for 4th place ranking. Less than 100 yards passing and 100 yards rushing allowed per game. 1.1 TDs per game.

2000 Uga. Marcus Stroud, Richard Seymour, Charles Grant on the D-line. I think all of the starters from that unit went on to start in the NFL at some point.
