Our 2015 offensive line was pretty efficient at stopping drives.

2009 Iowa, 2004 Miami, 2008 LSU all come to mind. ....And 2008 Gardner-Webb, of course. :-)
FSU late 90s...for me not close. That D was unreal in talent and execution
One of the Captains of the FSU National Champions then ended up being an employee and very quickly a partner in my firm, he's a CE specializing in land development here in SW Florida and his discussions about both the focus and motivation that was imparted to his teams pretty well spelled out the quality of preparation that these superbly well coached teams received ... Truth be known, they were consistently flat out beasts & highly worthy of consideration here, the whole "tomahawk chop" part notwithstanding...! By the way, he's just a remarkable engineer!
Can his ass.
Can his ass.
Nah, there are four -- it's just that two of them on the far side are right behind each other so they look like one. Count the players and there will only be ten if you don't count all four on the far side. Or just look up a different image.I noticed nobody mentioned it in the ACCCG thread either, but the refs were correct. UNC only has three players lined up on the side away from the lick. Rules require four.

Even if they did have only three, that would have been illegal formation, not offsides.

Alabama in the early 60s . They were like fire ants. Tennessee in the 60s. Iowa 2009. Miami 2004. A couple of the FSU teams from the late 90s were excellent. North Carolina had some really tough linebackers early in the 2000s. Practically every team facing Tech during the Bill Lewis era would qualify as well.
unc, in 1980, had LT & Darryl Nicholson (sp?) at LB. I had never seen a player, in person, like that since Nobis and Lee Roy Jordan.
In 1980, ugag deserved the MNC, but on the day we played them unc was the best team I saw that year.
What the what????? öööö Florida should have played defense on one play and 1980 doesn't happen - and dammit Clemson and to hell if we didn't help them out with ND. öööö, 8 out of 12 teams UGAg played that year had losing records. Weakest National Championship cred in the history of the world.
