I graduated a semester early, just saying

I got in with a 1340
But I did much better on my GRE

I get why TS was fired, but I think his heart was in the right place. I was sitting near him a few years ago when Auburn stunned us with a wild comeback in the regional a few years back and you could tell it meant a lot to him.

Lot of programs in really good position right now with several at all-time highs. Baseball, WBB, volleyball, golf all positioned to contend for titles. Just made a ööööty hire where it counted most.

It’s not the ööööty hire that got him. It was the ööööty contract that he agreed to for the ööööty coach who he stood by for too long.

I know we've struggled, but seems to me there's really no excuse to be anything but very good in the non-revenue sports considering our resources and academic profile. The benefactors and resources in baseball and golf make those practically run themselves, and there's still quite a bit of frustration on the baseball front to go around.

Good hire on the WBB front, but program was built by Machelle Joseph, probably because she was a psycho.

You know how there are people that maybe you didn't like at the time but as the years go by you kind of forget what you didn't like about them and remember only what was good about them.

Bill Curry is not one of those people.

He was a judgmental, holier-than-thou, arrogant, self-righteous prick when he was here and he every bit still is. @savbandjacket nailed it when he said Curry is not the self-appointed conscious of the Institute 36 years after he left for greener pastures.
