If I'm not mistaken he's the first GT QB starter since Ball started in '04 to finish a season above 50% completions.

You are mistaken. Tevin completed 49.6% as a Jr. and a heady 56.4% his Sr. year.

And just for fun, he completed 100% of his passes thrown as a freshman. But he didn't start, so it didn't count.
