Big Ten football to resume weekend of Oct. 24

The Big Ten will kick off its football season the weekend of Oct. 24 after the league's presidents and chancellors unanimously voted to resume competition, citing daily testing capabilities and a stronger confidence in the latest medical information.

Yeah, I guess their last 3 bowl losses were all Clemson. I just always associate Ohio State with losing to Auburn, U[sic]GA, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina (x2), Florida (x2), LSU, etc. in bowls since the 90s when I really started paying attention to college football.

Looks like they did beat Alabama once during that run, and beat Arkansas but then had to vacate it.

Yeah it's BS. The ACC is playing real football, and they're not going to get much credit for it. Looking at Connelly's returning production, this is an up year for the ACC talent-wise, but if it isn't the early favorites who come out on top, it will be the same old narrative that SEC teams beat each other up and the ACC is Clemson and a bunch of nobodies. Maybe the B1G prevents 2 SEC teams from getting in, but they are getting the easy road to the playoffs if they are allowed in.

I wonder if the other conferences who are playing longer schedules will cry foul. It's already a little weird that the ACC is playing 11 games while the SEC and Big 12 are playing 10, but I guess that's self-inflicted. I could see the conferences playing 10/11 game schedules being none too pleased with a team playing 8 games getting into the playoffs.

In my opinion the better teams play more games
 
If they get in 8 conference games, plus a conference championship then hard to keep them from having a representative in the playoffs.

This whole thing is humorous... their chest-pounding, virtuous decision was reversed as soon as they knew that they'd be left out as other conferences stayed the course and went ahead with their seasons.

They look retarded. I'm excited about 6 weeks of showcasing ACC football without them. I've never given 2 öööös about Big10 football.
