Big Big Props Jackets!!! Big Props!!!

I think we need to start a thread titled, "Who in the hell was our starting left guard?!?!?" and continue discussion there.

Well, BOR, according to RamblinWreck. com, #61, Matt Rhodes did indeed start at LG. Reserve OL who played were A.J. Smith, Dunmon, and Newberry.

Calvin, we are not worthy. You are all world, and we thank you for choosing to play your college football at GT.

I noticed Rhodes started, no question about it, as I was curious who would start.

Here are your exact words:

"Finally, we won't beat VT. We're going to get our ass kicked for two simple reasons.

a.) Our Oline won't get the job done.

b.) Gailey does not have a killer instinct ..."

and

"... we won't get it done, because the weaknesses I pointed out will be horribly exposed at 3:30pm on Saturday."
Those could have easily been my words (except I still have ? marks about Gailey) and I am glad things turned out as they did last night. We need to keep it up, beat everyone we should, knock off Clemson and Miami, then we can all say that this program has turned a corner. If we have a let down game after yesterday then we're still going down Gailey Avenue.

I am actually interested how Rhodes and Dunmon each did at the LG spot and how they looked...

It's pretty hard to evaluate Dunmon since he only played 3 snaps the whole game. He looked fine on those 3 snaps.

Ok, fine. I was drunk and the first time I looked to see who started I saw Dunman. At that point it was 7-0 or so I thought. Then I watched the highlights late last night and saw Rhodes. I eat a big fat pile of crow. I even went to RW.com this mroning to double check because I culd have sworn Dunman played. He played, didn't start. Rhodes obviously played very well. I give them all credit.

And I don't recall one OLine penalty.
