Big News!

Dang, we go with Toyota? Does anybody even buy those things anymore? Guess it fits in with the ACC situation.
If I had to go buy a new car today, I'd go look, in order, at.
1) Honda
2) Toyota
3) Lexus
4) Acura
5) back to the Honda store
6) back to the Toyota store
7) Hyundai
8) Kia
10) Nissan
....don't know if I'd ever make it to the Stellantis lot. Ford and GM don't sell cars outside Mustangs, Camaros, and Corvettes and, even if they did, they'd be garbage.
I'd probably look at cars first, then SUV's. Honda Accord is first up.

We're in different styles it appears. I'm:
a. Porche
b. Aston Martin
c. Mercedes Benz
d. Audi
e. Volvo
f. BMW

I drove Audi sports cars from for 20 years. I bought a Ford F-250 4 years ago. And I’ll never buy another vehicle again. That thing is a 4 wheel drive luxury Cadillac.

a) I'd probably go look at Porsches before looking at Stellantis, but not the SUV. I'd want a 911 or Cayman
b) hell no
c) nope
d) pass on fancy VW's
e) you'd buy a Geely?
f) maybe an 80's M30, 633CSI, 535i, M3, M6. I would buy nothing new from them

By car are you excluding truck? F-150s are nice

I have a truck. A 2003 Dodge Ram. I wouldn't commute in a vehicle that gets ööööty fuel mileage. I don't understand why anyone would, unless they are such a fatass and out of shape they can't fit in a car.

What an F150 lacks in fuel economy it makes up for with utility. Then again I don't have to commute daily in my pov during the current gas price fiasco. Probably should have gotten a F250 in hindsight but not because of fuel efficiency.

Doesn't really matter what company Tech utilizes for marketing revenue. What matters is how much they pay Tech. $$$$

Looks like it’s time to sell the M3. Shame.
Is it an E30 M3? Late 80's/early 90's? Those are worth more now than a new one. There will never, ever, ever be an M3 worth more than one of the E30 M3's from here out.

I should have bought that '89 E30 M3 at Global years ago, but I opted for the 325ic to get a convertible

Here I am thinking I’m waltzing into some football conversation. Jesus Christ our fans will dissect ANYTHING and debate about it.

And nothing speaks to someone's poor life's decisions more than buying a used BMW.
I bought a CPO 2008 535xi in 2011 and drove it for seven years before the turbo started having issues and I replaced it with an CPO E350 4matic. Given I purchased the 535xi with less than 30K miles for about 30K$, I considered it a good investment.

Unless I win the lottery, I will never buy a new vehicle. Low mileage 2-3 year old vehicles are the best investment.

It isn't an investment. It is an expense.

I’ve owned the Top 3 over last 10 years- convertibles, SUVs and sedans, daughter bought #4, owned #5 about 20 years ago and liked it as I got 250k out of it with no issues, and all I got to say about #6 is several friends I know drive them. Not saying I’d by one but the M8’s not a bad ride.
