Who does everyone believe will be the biggest sleeper in this year's recruiting class?

My vote goes to Euclid Cummings. I have been around helping coach this kid over the last couple of years ( he has only played football for two years), and he is special. He has gamebreaker speed (been timed at 4.55 by scouts) and has a non-stop to the whistle mentality.

Once Euclid learns what he is doing, after a redshirt year, he has unlimited upside potential. He looks like he weighs 215 lbs now but weighs 235, which means he will easily carry 270-280 lbs.

He is my vote for the sleeper of the class.

My vote is for Jeremy Moore. They got him that early even though he isn't highly rated for some reason.

Based on the lack of attention and offers...I would have to say Lance Richardson. He did not even have a profile until he committed.

After all of the video I have looked at...and everything I read...this just goes to show why some extremely talented kids can get overlooked, end up a smaller schools, and still make the NFL. I am not saying he is NFL material...just stating that the scenario could be the same for many others out there that a GT does not happen across.

Brandon Watts - Like Brad Jefferson, we forget about the early commits

Carl Miles - Very good ball skills from the video

Richardson - Good size and physical stature.

My guess is Lance Richardson and Will Jackson will be All-ACC before they graduate. I hope I didnt jinx them.

I'm praying that the answer is an offensive lineman.

I'll guess it'll be Richardson...no real reason why other than the fact that he was a virtual unknown and wasn't heavily recruited...

Any change he moves inside?

I don't think he will be able to put on that kind of size. Additionally he is far to athletic. We will want to see his speed on the edge. He gives o linemen fits with his speed on the pass rush and in pursuit.

I still contend that our defensive personnel could easily be molded into a 3-4 scheme. Many have debated that premise. Furthermore, I've never heard a statement from our coaching staff about it. Nevertheless, I see the possible names being good fits for a 3-4:

NT: Barnes, Walls, Lanier(fr)

DE: Morgan, Peters, Egbuniwe, Anderson, Cross(fr), Cummings(fr), Crenshaw(fr)

Current LB: Griffin, Barnes, Jefferson, Jackson, Sylvester, Machen, Munroe, Rocker, Tongo, Watts(fr)

DE to LB: Hall, Wilson, Dieke (fr)

Thats what I like about Wommack...he is not married to onw particular scheme or formation. He builds his scheme/formations around our personnel. That's one reason we ran Nickel so much at the end of the year. We were banged up at linebacker and had 3 safeties that could play.

One thing is that our LB group might not be strong enough to play in that scheme. Granted we had a bunch of injuries last year but they still were not exactly our strong suit.

That's a good point. Hopefully we'll see that dramatic 2nd year improvement that so many players have. All of our returning linebackers had zero game experience before last year, except AT Barnes. I guess Jefferson and Griffin had some special teams experience before last year, but that is different.

Really? I hadn't known that. How many LBs did we graduate at the end of 2007 season?

You haven't paid attention then. Both PJ and Wommack have said we're not a 3-4 team.
