please Chan!!

Even with the promising looking 2 deep we have for 2003...don't you get the feeling that with the current QB we have we still be stuck in that 7-5 range next year?

He will get his chance in Spring Practice. If he wants to start next year Bilbo best watch a lot of film and know the playbook before spring ball starts. No coach in America will start a QB who only has command of less than 20% of the playbook. Its up to Bilbo..........if he does the work he will be the starter next year......despite all the crap posted on this board and others it is simple as that

83, it just doesn't square with CG & BOB's post Summer's practices comments that we don't have a 2nd string QB...only 1 and 1-A. 1-A doesn't equal knowing 20% of the playbook. By the way, I doubt seriously if McPherson has a full grasp of their playbook...certainly not as much as Rix. Something else is amiss here. There's no excuse for not giving some PT to a QB who has come in and scored TD's already this year in more than one game. Take a good look at our 2nd half scoring this year and NO the NCSU game doesn't make up for the others. THWG

GOLD Z , no offense but too many people are looking for another excuse that Bilbo is not playing. The 1 and 1A comment was made coming out of Spring not Summer practice. Bottom line and this comes from people in the know........if Bilbo wants to be the starter not just get some situational PT he has to learn the offense

The concern of most IMO isn't becoming the starter, it's getting some quality PT...especially after producing earlier when given the chance. THWG
