Great pick for the job IMO, similar to the Schnellenberger to FAU pick.

It should also be nice to have a Tech man there rather than a UGA man. Imagine if if Goff or God forbid Dooley were hired to start the program, it'd be another reason to write articles like, "How long til GSU passes GT?"

At least, now, GSU, will get the same respect from the AUC that we do.

Most football players are black. Atlanta is 65% black. Statesboro is like 5% black.

I had a discussion with demjackets on whether this would affect GSU. He seemed to think that it would, but I don't think it will...at least for a while. If they start winning there might be an issue.

But if I am a S-A looking at FCS schools, I am going to go with the team billed as the best in I-AA/FCS history rather than the new guy.

I think it's going to affect FCS schools that are in neighboring states more than GSouthern. Look at the rosters of teams like Furman, Jack St, Chattanooga, etc. They are loaded with Atlanta/North GA kids.
