BJ Bostic commits!

Wait, I thought we couldn't recruit quality recruits because of the system we run.

Bostic will start out at CB.
He has not talked about QB at all.
Fantastic athlete.

Wood is going to Michigan or ND...we are third.

Welcome to the FLATS young man....
Hiver who would you see being the next recruit to possibly step forward w/ a verbal? (esp at this position?)

So next fall he will be a Junior. If he knows we are recruiting him at cornerback, would he focus more on playing at that position and less at QB?

I thought he decided two weeks ago, but waited to anounce until now.

Apparently, from the Hive, he committed 2 weeks ago.

Dont let them feed you that horse dung. They had no idea it was coming and Jacketsonline.com scooped them....its been a long time since they have been scooped.

Its only going to get worse.

Its been known for a while now that Bostic was heavily favoring GT...he just decided to make his decision public today to me at Jacketsonline.com. I was standing there when he called CPJ and Coach Smith.

He is playing at the N.Gwinnett 7 on 7 national tournament this week. He plays QB for his team and there is no chance he plays QB in college. DB all the way.

Barry Every of Rivals.com will be out there tomorrow taking a look at Bostic. His ranking will most likely move up...in front of Ayers.

His latest results at the Under Armour Combine was 4.43 40, and 39" vert. He weighed in at 160.

For one, can I bring up the question of what position would he focus on in his senior year of high school given the above facts.

Also, if his rating from rivals boosts that much I will be greatly impressed.

ya, don't believe anything posted on the hive. My lurking there taught me much about tempering expectations, skepticism, and how much message boards affect our players

GTland03, do you think bostic is really that good? I tend to watch too much GA HS football but have never seen him play.

Bostic is the real deal and many people in the recruiting business are starting to see the light..

Ayers is slowly starting to cool on many peoples boards and Bostic is starting to shine. Kid just doesnt get many looks because he only plays QB for his high school...but when he does line up at DB, he can cover the best. Legit 4.45 speed and a 40" vert are super impressive.

Ill let you know what Barry Every thinks tomorrow. Im going to try and get Bostic to play some DB in Bracket play tomorrow at N.Gwinnett.

I talked to a couple of people in length today about Bostic's abilities and what they think of him. Coaches, Recruiting analysts, and Talent evaluators all thought he was the "real deal" and they "really liked him".

Not only is he a special athlete, he is a great dude. VERY nice, outgoing, and willing to talk to anybody. Good kid.
