Whew, I thought this was going to be a thread about the game being blacked out on tv. That would have sucked. Not too worried about FSU and their terrible black uniforms.

And make no mistake, those uniforms are terrible. Some of the worst in college football. And no, don't be a ****tard and start posting pictures, saying "lol no these are the worst."

I know about Oregon, I know about Cal. Those black uniforms for Florida State are goddamn hideous.
 
Also, I doubt the players will wear black. If this is a privately organized fan protest against Bowden and the AA gets wind of it, I can't see them letting the players wear black.

Or, they could wear black to make it look to outsiders like it was a school-sponsored blackout and not a fan revolt.

Also, I won't post pictures, but people always forget that the ugliest uniforms belong to Wyoming.
 
I'm confused... is black even one of their colors? I've seen Maroon, gold, white, green... and now black... I've never associated black with FSU. That'd be like UGA doing a brown out. haha a bunch of turds floating in the cesspool :)

No, it isn't. It's something they did I guess in remembrance of the actual Seminoles, but there must have been a better avenue to take for that. The uniforms don't say "Florida State" at all and would have been much better as a one-time thing than an easy way to get a black uniform.
 
they call it their "unconquered" uniforms... which... they got beaten in last year.

they used to be a god-awful shade of dark green. last year they were actually black

The pants actually have "Unconquered" written down the side where the stripe usually is.
 
It's a desperation move to try and circle the wagons.

FWIW, I believe F$U is 0-2 in their all-black "Imprisoned"...err, "Unconquered" uniforms.
 
How is anyone supposed to know if it is a statement against Bowden or in support of him?

Earlier this week I heard rumors of the same sort of thing in support of Bowden. ???

I just can't believe that after 30 years, they get one bad season and its "he's got to go!" I think when Bowden leaves, it'll be the dark ages for FSU and how they wished he was back...
