Bohannon's Working already

When did Buddy Geis become a horrible WR coach?
I don't know that he's horrible, but I still don't think our WR play overall has been particularly good since he's been here. Our route running seems sloppy and the high number of drops stands out. They do block well as a group so that's something, but I won't be sorry to see someone else take a shot at it. Maybe it's the pro/college thing? Perhaps he's more cut out to work with professionals than college kids?

Gee, I seem to remember some highlights of Dez in the NFL, particularly with da Bears.

I love Dez...one of my favorite GT players ever. I watched him at Bolles, etc.

He had such trouble with drops that our coaches had his eyes checked because they felt like he had trouble seeing the short passes that were coming at him quickly.

It was the same issue that plagued him in Chicago.

Considering he left school early for the NFL draft...then was drafted in the 3rd round...he had a so-so career.

Quote from Wikipedia: "White was also plagued by the habit of dropping more passes than he caught."

He ended up playing 6 seasons in the NFL catching 187 passes for 2,149 yds. and scoring 11 TD's. That is a season average of 31 catches for 2 TD's and 358 yds.

Bohannon will have a tough time convincing Thomas to stay. I know people have said that Donley may transfer, but the most vocal player I've heard talking about leaving is definitely BeBe.

I can see his concern as BeBe is probably the weakest "runner" of our receiving corps from a 'shake and bake' perspective. One thing Paul Johnson will wants is receivers that can not just stretch the field vertically, but sideline to sideline. He will want them doing end-arounds, double reverses, etc. Donley fits that mold...as does Earls, Johnson, and Smith. Too bad about AJ Jenkins...he was perfect for it.

However, Bebe could still fit in. PJ also likes to move the slot receiver in tight in some of his formations like a tight end...and he uses a larger receiver for that.

It would be funny if BeBe was being "vocal" as you said though Ish....although I do not doubt you. It is just that I have always found him to be extremely quiet with not much to say.

hah, that's true.
