The O-line looked really bad. We tried to establish the run many times and it just wasn't happening.

He definitely looked scared and lost most of the time.

I think he took one wildcat snap and was in maybe one or two other plays in the second half. Third string guy, #6, was in for one play that I noticed, right before the wildcat play.

Smith had 9 carries for 33 yards, Hall had 12 carries for 12 yards. Neither were anything to shout about.

Point he's making is its not like Smith was all that absent in terms of actual carries or that he was doing great but got sat. He got a reasonable number of carries and wasn't any more successful at it than anyone else, mostly for the reason you said (tho Hall got 47 yds on the 12 carries, not sure where the 12 is from).

Pyron should not be around anyone involved in the program. They have proven to be inept and will only hurt him. Leave him alone until we get a real staff in place. This season is done. If I’m the new AD I don’t let our only future QB ever be in the same room with Long or Weinke. They did nothing to get our backup QB prepared all season. What I never will understand is why we have 8-10 DB’s and WR’s and 3 RB’s getting reps but at the most important position on the team our coaches do nothing to prepare the backup. Has Sims ever played a full season yet? I’m done with all of them and hope they don’t mess up Pyron between now and the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
