Just watched the entire fourth quarter of a VERY tight game between these two. UVA won a squeaker, but they were very lucky to have won. UVA shut them down on a 2 pt. conversion. UNC has a GREAT QB who may emerge as the premiere QB in the conference, a Georgia boy no less. They will be explosive on offense this season as long as he stays healthy. If they can learn to run the ball they will be tough to beat.
UVA is pretty solid. Their starting RB (Peerman?) got close to 200 against UNC and Sewell did a decent job managing the game. He's gonna get better and better as the season goes on. That Long kid made an AMAZING interception where he basically knocked down a pass at the line and hauled it in...reminiscent of the play David Pollack made against USC a few years back. They are solid defensively.
Folks, beginning tonight this may well be the toughest three game stretch on our schedule...BC, UVA (at their place), and Clemson. If we win two out of three I'll be happy!
I can't help but feel that a NEW ACC is emerging.
What say you?
