Outside of the CFP bowls, the only truly interesting match-ups (if only from a historical point of view) are ND/LSU and OSU/USC. From a looks like a fun match-up point of view, the only real interesting one to me is VT vs Oklahoma St.

The rest are crap.

Ones that I have any opinion on whatsoever:

Ohio St. vs. USC: Who is pissed off at being passed over and who doesn't want to be there?

Virginia vs. Navy: Bronco gets to satisfy his triple-option fetish yet again.

Florida St. vs. Southern Miss in the Independence: THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN US!!

Dang, that's about it.

Tidbit:

UT San Antonio was passed over for a bowl at 6-5. They were one of our options for a 12th game.

Just when I get over the sting of this season I read the names of ACC teams going to a bowl and my PTSD returns.

If Auburn gets their mind right they could put up 70 on UCF's defense.

Does it help that Duke's reward for beating us is an afternoon kickoff in Detroit? Not really, huh.

There are 40 bowls. That means 80 teams got in. There were 83 bowl eligible teams. Too many bowls. SAD!

And both are pissed as hell that they don't get to play in the Rose Bowl. When is the last time the Rose Bowl was played with neither a PAC-10/12/etc or a Big-10/B1G representative?
