Bowling Anyone

How do bowls work with ACC having 14 teams? Did we pick up any tie ins given the p12 dissolution?

You can eliminate the Mayo Bowl in Charlotte. Always going to go to a Carolina school (Duke this year). Seems like it’s the Sun Bowl, or GT goes to a lower bowl (Birmingham Bowl) in a “swap” like we sort of heard about last year.

Pinstripe & Fenway Bowls will take a NE school (BC, Cuse, Pitt).

I just pray and hope that we don't wind up in the Military Bowl against Navy as some are projecting. NOTHING good would come from that. It would be more about CPJ than the actual game. And I'm a huge CPJ fan. I could see there would be some even insinuating it would be a triple option bowl. No, we need to stay away from this.

Annapolis in the Winter is a terrible idea. As is Boston and NYC. We need Florida, Arizona, or Southern California

More than likely the Military Bowl will be UVA, VT, or UNC. I think it’s pretty easy to pick how the Bowls will really end up looking like in the ACC based on geography and history. Which is why it’s funny how bad ESPN etc are at picking them.

Real outlier is Cal. Cal will finish with 6-7 wins. Not sure where the heck they get slated in. ACC will probably make a swap with some other Bowl so they don’t have to travel across the country. I doubt Cal gets the Holiday Bowl.
